CWELCC: The United Counties funds the centre the difference in the fees! Parents are not charged full fees and are only refunded where applicable.

 

Fees that Stepping Stones charges are broken down into two categories Base fees and Non-base fees. 

 

Base fees are the mandatory parent fees (Full Canada wide rates or Parental Contribution as indicated by the United Counties.), registration fees, administration fees, annual supply fees or any items required by the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 regulation (Ontario Regulation 137/15).  Parents will be provided sufficient notice of any fees being charged and as to when and how they will be invoiced.

 

Non-base fees include any late pickup fees acquired, NSF fines, Interest charged to overdue fees, Field Trips and optional transportation, items not provided by parents such as sunscreen and diapers or anything that is not required to meet the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 regulation (Ontario Regulation 137/15).

 

Annual Supply Fee:

There is an annual supply fee of $36.00 that will be located on your monthly invoice in the amount of $3.00 per month.

 

Please note: Our Christmas closure depends on how the holidays fall that year. Notice of the closure for Vacation Bible School will be given as soon as the church has decided on their date.

 

Unforeseen Closures

If the daycare is unable to open for reasons beyond our control (e.g. heating or water problems, inclement weather, etc.), full payment will be required for these days. We will make every effort possible to contact the local radio stations to keep you up-to-date about such decisions.
